My teaching philosophy centers on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem solving, and intellectual curiosity.
I encourage students to move beyond memorization by asking meaningful questions, analyzing evidence, and applying concepts to real-world and scientific contexts. In my courses, particularly in the biological and health sciences, I emphasize understanding underlying mechanisms rather than isolated facts, enabling students to connect theory with practice.
I view students as active participants in their learning and expect them to become self-directed learners who take ownership of their academic growth. By fostering curiosity and reflective thinking, I aim to help students develop the skills necessary for lifelong learning, professional competence, and meaningful engagement in society.
