My teaching philosophy is student-centered. This allows students to digest the ideas, values and skills that are imparted to them and contribute to the discussion, hence enriching the stock of knowledge, particularly in the field of Politics and International Relations. In order to ensure retention of the ideas by the students, strengthen their self-confidence and inculcate in them, the spirit of teamwork, given the fact that they are future diplomats, ambassadors, leaders, members of Parliament, policymakers, scholars and researchers, I usually divide my classes into groups for the purpose of giving assignments and debate on the trending issues in International Relations and Diplomacy, so that they present in the presence of their colleagues and relevant questions asked and answers, advanced.

The foregoing style helps me in engaging and controlling my classes, thus achieving my teaching/learning objectives, as demonstrated in the learning outcomes and overall performance of the students. I equally utilize technology, especially when there is access to the Internet to further demonstrate certain points on the promethean board, hence facilitating teaching and enhancing learning for human and societal development.
