As a lecturer, my role is to guide students while encouraging independent discovery and critical thinking. I believe effective learning comes through interactive, student-centered education where curiosity is fostered and questions are welcomed.
I focus on connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application, especially important in engineering. My classes begin with a review of previous material and a clear overview of the lesson goals. I adapt my teaching methods to the time of day and student energy levels, often using short videos or discussions to re-engage focus.
Student participation is key. I encourage group work, presentations, and in-class discussions to promote collaboration and peer learning. This helps students of varying skill levels support one another and grow together.
I strive to create an open, supportive environment where students feel safe to share ideas and take risks. Teaching, to me, is a continuous learning process that evolves through experience, reflection, and engagement with students and colleagues.
