I believe that all students in Iraq and the Kurdistan region have the potential to learn and succeed and that it is my responsibility as a teacher to create a classroom environment where all students feel safe, supported, and challenged. I strive to create a learning community where students are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and learn from each other, while also being exposed to the latest industry practices and encouraged to get involved in the industry themselves.

My teaching philosophy is informed by the following beliefs:

  • Learning is best when it is active and engaged. I believe that students learn best when they are doing, and that hands-on activities and projects can be powerful tools for learning. I also believe that students learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process, and that they should have opportunities to make choices and take ownership of their learning.
  • Industry experience is essential. I believe that students should have opportunities to gain real-world experience in their field of study. I strive to incorporate industry-relevant projects and assignments into my instruction, and I encourage students to get involved in internships and other extracurricular activities that will give them hands-on experience.
  • Relationships are important. I believe that positive relationships between teachers and students are essential for learning. I strive to create a warm and welcoming classroom environment where students feel respected and valued. I also believe that it is important for me to have relationships with industry professionals so that I can expose my students to the latest trends and practices.

I am committed to my own professional development and to continuous improvement. I actively seek out opportunities to learn new teaching strategies and to collaborate with other teachers, as well as to network with industry professionals. I believe that by constantly learning and growing, I can be the best teacher possible for my students.
