My philosophy of teaching is based on the 21st century view of teaching with students being the centre of the teaching-learning process. According to this view, my main principle of teaching is to guide, direct and lead my students professionally in the process of acquiring knowledge and skills. This will help them be independent learners and take responsibility for their own learning. For this purpose, I aim to employ the most effective teaching methods and techniques that focus primarily on critical thinking skills and problem-solving strategies.

I believe for achieving an effective teaching two components should be involved: mastering the subject matter and delivering it with the right method. Failure in one of them leads to failure of the other and consequently failure of the learning process. I also believe that trusting students and building up professional relationships with them help promoting their self-confidence and motivate them to learn. Through following these policies and putting them into practice I provide a stimulating learning environment for my students.
